How can I support Baxter Arts Centre?

There are many ways to support us:

What should I know about summer camps?

Our Summer Camps are our most in demand program, with some camps like Art Esteem selling out in minutes! Below is a full outline of what to expect with camps.

Camp locations, dates and hours vary, visit our Summer Camps 2026 page for current offerings. Please make sure to review our Cancellation Policy before registering.

Running Late?: If you are running late, you’ll be provided a number to text.

Early Pick Up: If you need to pick up your kiddo(s) early, let the instructor will know at drop off time. They will know where the best location for pick up will be as sometimes they visit the park.

Medications: Our instructors are unable to administer medications. Please provide the Program Director with any important information about your child, including allergies, in the form accompanying registration.

What to Bring*: Camps are active, and we recommend comfortable clothes that can get dirty. If your child has a favourite top they absolutely adore and they really want to wear to camp, pack a larger shirt they can wear over it during craft time. Baxter provides aprons, however art camp is messy, especially when paint, glue, and sparkles are involved!

Pack a large, healthful lunch as well as at least two energy-packed snacks in an insulated lunch container*. Your child(ren) will also need their own reusable water bottle*.

We also recommend packing an extra set of clothes, and weather appropriate clothing.

Do you have a nervous camper? Stuffies are oh so welcome! They can bring a different buddy every day, just make sure they have them at home time.

***Remember to put names on everything that is brought to camp (last year we had four identical unicorn backpacks at one camp). **

Financial assistance is available through our Send a Kiddo to Camp program.

Is My Membership Tax-Deductible?

Yes! The Baxter Arts Centre is a registered charitable organization (Business Number: 81833 2314 RR0001).

You will receive a tax receipt for the full donation amount.
