Megan Lumgair
Program Director
Megan is a multidisciplinary artist and event producer whose practice spans installation, writing, design, and material-based work. She began her career in event production and has over a decade of experience directing cultural events and creative projects. Megan has led high-level operations for concerts featuring Juno Award-winning musicians such as Arkells, Charlotte Cardin, and Sam Roberts, and has collaborated with internationally acclaimed brands including the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, Nike, and the Toronto International Film Festival.
This foundation informs her artistic work as the Artistic Director of Flowering Wild, Event Designer for Beautiful View Music Festival, and Creative Director for studio free folk. Her work has been featured on HGTV’s The County and in FOLKLIFE Magazine, and she is an active member of County Arts.
As Program Director for Baxter Arts Centre, Megan is dedicated to honoring the Centre’s vibrant history while introducing fresh, community-driven programming that expands its creative reach. Megan happily lives in Prince Edward County with her partner, daughter, and rescue pup.
